Provider agreement

Last updated: 2026

This page combines what you might see elsewhere as separate “Provider Terms” and “Provider Listing Agreement” documents into one, to avoid two documents contradicting each other.

Who this is for

This agreement applies to any business with a listing on CompareHQ, whether that listing was created by CompareHQ from public information or claimed and managed directly by the business through a provider account. It should be read alongside our general Terms of use.

Eligibility

CompareHQ currently lists genuinely UK-based providers only, and every provider must be able to demonstrate it's a credible, established business. What counts as credible depends on the category:

  • In Executive Coaching and Coach Training, a real, verifiable accreditation or credential (for example ICF, EMCC, or another recognised coaching body) is required.
  • In every other category, we look for at least one clear signal of credibility: a genuine public Trustpilot or Google review profile, a professional and credible business website, or named facilitators or business leaders with a verifiable track record.

A business found not to meet these standards, whether at listing or later, isn't deleted outright, but its listing is suspended and removed from public view. See Comparison Methodology for more on how this is checked.

Accuracy and submission standards

All listing information, whether submitted by a provider or researched by CompareHQ, must be factual: pricing, accreditations, services offered, and years trading. Subjective claims (for example, unverifiable superlatives about quality) aren't permitted. New listings and updates are reviewed by CompareHQ staff before going live, per our Comparison Methodology.

Ratings and reviews

Trustpilot and Google ratings shown on a listing are independently sourced from the provider's own public profile, they are never self-reported, and no provider can pay to alter, remove, or improve a displayed rating. See our Review & Ratings Policy.

Listing tiers and fees

Listings sit on a Free, Professional, or Premium tier. Professional is £499 for the first year, renewing at £199/year. Premium is £999 for the first year, renewing at £499/year. Paid tiers affect visibility and placement only, they never change, hide, or improve any factual information, rating, or review data. No tier includes priority category placement, and no tier guarantees leads, enquiries, or sales. An upgrade can be requested directly from the provider portal; CompareHQ does not take payment automatically, each payment is confirmed manually by CompareHQ staff before the upgrade takes effect. See our billing terms for detail.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content, logo, or material you submit about your business. By submitting it, you grant CompareHQ a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform for as long as your listing is live. You confirm you have the right to submit any material you provide.

Prohibited conduct

You must not submit false or misleading information, attempt to pay or otherwise induce CompareHQ to alter or suppress factual information or ratings, or misuse the buyer enquiry system (for example, by submitting enquiries to your own or a competitor's listing).

Removal and suspension

CompareHQ may remove, suspend, or decline to publish a listing that breaches this agreement, is found to be inaccurate, or belongs to a business no longer eligible to be listed, including one that no longer meets our credibility standards. A removed listing can rejoin CompareHQ once the underlying issue has been resolved, for example the business has genuinely obtained the required accreditation, or can demonstrate the credibility signal that was missing. You can request removal of your own listing at any time by contacting us.

Disputes

If you disagree with a decision about your listing, contact us with the details and we'll review it. We aim to resolve listing disputes directly and informally in the first instance.
