Its stated purpose is to accelerate gender equality in the industry, and it campaigns for 50% female CEOs. WACL says it has over 300 members, drawn from client organisations, agencies, media owners and trade bodies. It runs member dinners and events, the WACL Talent Awards training bursaries, and mentoring and talent programmes for emerging women.

In the UK it runs confidential peer advisory groups of around a dozen non-competing chief executives and business owners, each group led by an experienced chair who also provides one-to-one coaching, supported by expert speaker sessions. The Women's Chapter is an application-only network for senior professionals, business owners and female founders who want to build connections, collaborate and solve business challenges together. It says it has grown through applications and referrals to more than 5,500 members. Membership includes in-person and virtual events, a monthly virtual member meeting and mastermind, a peer accountability partner, a members' WhatsApp group and directory, and profiling opportunities. It is a certified B Corp and donates 5% of membership fees to charities that support women and girls.

Women of the Future Network is an invitation-only network of successful and ambitious women across the UK, created in 2007 as part of the Women of the Future Programme founded by Pinky Lilani CBE DL. Members are identified from the shortlists and champions of the Women of the Future and Asian Women of Achievement Awards, with further members introduced through other programme initiatives. The network runs a series of events each year for members to share experiences and build connections, and says it has grown to more than 1,000 women from a wide range of sectors. It has also launched in Asia Pacific.

Female Advisory Board (FAB) is a peer advisory organisation built exclusively for female founders, CEOs and managing directors, founded in Harrogate by Samantha Addy in 2023. Members join a monthly, agenda-driven board day with leaders from non-competing sectors, guest speakers and workshops, plus one-to-one mentoring with a Chair every two months. There are three boards based on annual turnover: FAB Scale (£500k to £3m), FAB Enterprise (£3m to £20m) and FAB Vanguard (£20m and above). Two annual events bring all three boards together.

London Women's Forum is a membership network for senior women in UK financial services, founded in 2004 as the City Women's Club. Membership is open to women at Managing Director, Director or Partner level, or equivalent, in financial services and supporting professional services firms, either through a member firm or as an individual. It runs events and thought leadership on gender balance in financial services, cross-organisation mentoring, a CEO speaker series and outreach to bring more women into the sector. Its patron is Eleanor Laing, Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons.

Women in PR (WPR) is a UK network for senior and middle-management women working in public relations. Its members include agency board members, in-house communications directors, boutique consultancy owners and independent consultants, and all are female or female-identifying, although men are welcome at its events. Membership offers peer support, events, a mentoring programme and links to Global Women in PR. Full membership suits practitioners with five or more years' experience or at middle-management or director level who can attend events in London, and a lower-cost digital membership is available for those outside commuting distance. Employers can join as corporate members.
