The Exceptional NED Programme from the University of Leeds Business School trains experienced executives to become effective non-executive directors. It combines workshop sessions with a three-month placement on the board of a high-growth SME, including at least three board meetings. On completion, participants receive a certificate and can apply to join a national NED network.
